History
GNY Aerospace Ltd. was founded in December 2023 by Mr. Atilla Güney (Aeronautical Engineer M.Sc.) in order to provide project development and management services in civil aviation sector including establishment of airlines, air taxi organisations, MROs as well as asset management, aircraft appraisals and validation, technical support at delivery/redelivery transactions.

To become one of the most effective, productive and innovative civil aviation project development and management company in Eurasia especially in Türkiye and Turkic countries by contributing their aviation eco-system at the highest level.

GNY's team comprises of aviation experts with average 30 years of experience and various disciplines including aeronautical /industrial engineering, airline pilotage, air traffic control as well as past managerial positions as CEO, Directors in flight and technical operation.

Atilla GÜNEY
As an aeronautical engineer with M.Sc. from Technical University of Istanbul, Mr. Güney has more than 33 years experience in civil aviation from the range of aircraft system engineering thru membership of executive management of airlines and MROs including establishment and management of airline technical division, MROs, aviation supply organisation and calibration laboratories. He eagerly continues to work for the development of new, innovative and productive aviation projects under a team work mentality.

Prof. Dr. Vahap ÖNEN
As an industrial engineer M.Sc. from Yıldız Technical University (YTÜ), Mr. Önen has more than 30 years total aviation experience not only in civil aviation sector holding several managerial positions as director of quality , safety and training departments but also in academic level having Ph.D. on “ Production Management and Marketing “ from YTÜ, heading aviation management department in universities plus being author of several books and articles issued at national and international well recognized platforms on the issues of aviation management, human factors, marketing, supply chain

Capt. Pilot / Asst. Prof. Dr. Hadi Ercan
Captain Pilot Ercan has more than 17000 flight hours experience in airline operation on both narrow and wide body airplanes as well as acting as CRM Instructor, TRI&TRE and manager of flight safety and performance/R&D departments. He also got M.Sc. on aeronautical science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, USA and Ph.D on “Mechanical Behaviours of Honeycomb Sandwich Structures in Aviation and Aerospace Industry” from Yıldız Technicai University as well as aircraft accident investigation expertise from Cranfield University, UK. Being a lecturer in universities on aviation management, airline operation, SMS, FDM etc., he also carries out several academic and research projects.

Necati ERGÜN
As an aircraft maintenance engineer on avionics and mechanical systems with more than 35 years experience, Mr. Ergün holds Part-145 Category B1, B2 and C licences on several narrow and wide body airplanes as well as business jets. In addition to establishing and managing avionics and calibration shops and maintenance departments, as an qualified instructor, he trained hundreds of young technicians/engineers on specialized trainings such as EWIS, FTS etc. on aircraft avionics and mechanical systems.
